A rather curious deer I encountered while hiking in the George Washington National Forest. It was rather curious and actually took several steps towards me while I was taking pictures.
I'm a hiker and a nature lover. I've enjoyed taking pictures in the woods or just about anywhere I've been outdoors since I was a kid. I enjoy capturing the beauty of the world as I explore it. My pictures are what I see. I do a little editing, but mainly just to sharpen the image or improve the range of color and contrast to match what I saw with my eyes. The idea of selling my pictures or putting them up for public consumption is very new for me. I appreciate any comments or feedback and I look forward to being a part of this community. Thank you.
